"Moral test for the government" says Jonathan

Jonathan has responded to the The Knutsford Guardian story "Further 35 Deaths at Cheshire East Care Homes"

This  reminds us that, whilst the Prime Minister keeps referring to the country being "over the peak", within our local care homes things are very, very different.

Hubert Humphrey once said that 'the moral test of government is how it treats those who are in the dawn of life, those who are in the twilight of life, the elderly, and those in the shadow of life, the sick, the needy, and the handicapped'.

So, in respect of the most vulnerable in society today, how should we judge this Conservative Government, which has presided over a shameful neglect of nursing homes, care homes and those receiving domiciliary care?
